Overview
Dulux Trade Danish Oil can be used on all types of interior or exterior woods. It is a natural oil blend that brings out the beauty of the wood. It permeates the surface of the wood to provide a natural, water-resistant finish. Ideal for use on all wooden surfaces, including doors, wooden furniture, kitchen worktops, skirting boards and wood decorations. It nourishes and protects the wood and produces a clear coat and matt finish.

Preparation
For best results, ensure new, bare wood is clean and dry before treatment.
- Previously treated wood should be sanded to provide the best finish.
- Waxes should be removed with white spirit.
- Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960s paint surfaces as they may contain harmful lead.
Application
Ensure to always follow the manufacturer's instructions found on the tin. Stir thoroughly, it is recommended that a small test area is applied before treating the entire surface to ensure compatibility.
- Apply using a brush or cloth only
- Do not thin
- If treating bare wood apply 3 coats, working in the direction of the woodgrain
- Do not over apply the oil as drying times will be extended
- Allow a minimum of 16 hours between coats
N.B. Risk of self-ignition of used cleaning cloths. Contaminated materials should be soaked in warm, soapy water and placed in a metal container before disposal. If treating bare wood apply 3 coats of Dulux Trade Danish Oil, allowing a minimum of 16 hours between coats.
